DescriptionThere is an obvious need to further abstract this logic in any future version.

Thumbnail attachment logic should be moved to a separate function.

Dimension and byte size watermarking should be optional.

Thumbnail size should be parameterized instead of always using $SETTINGS.

I also like the idea of having an abstracted image resizing function. This might make the function calls clearer.
